Scheduling Your Appointment
You’ll be welcomed with a herbal tea and hot towel by our friendly reception team
When you call to schedule, we will discuss your needs. You will be asked about your dental history and whether you are having an emergency. We try to ask as many questions as possible when you call, so we can have all the necessary information before your arrival. You will receive an SMS reminder the day before your appointment. We appreciate it if you bring in any x-rays you have from previous dental visits.
Your First Visit
You will be warmly greeted when you arrive. Our manager will introduce herself and offer you a herbal tea and a hot towel. Candles are lit and music is playing softly to help you relax. Magazines and a television are in the waiting area. Our practice offers little to no waiting time. You will be seen immediately, and if we are running behind, we will let you know right away.
Getting Started
To start your examination, you will first meet your dentist. They will discuss your concerns, current problems and your expectations with you.
You will put on a wireless headset and choose what to watch on the television in the ceiling. We have a wide selection of Netflix and Apple TV shows for you to view. The headset blocks any noise, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. If any follow-up visits are needed, we will discuss that with you and provide you with a treatment plan and quote. You can then book another appointment if necessary.
Your first appointment will take about an hour and 15 minutes and includes:
- Comprehensive examination of teeth and gums
- Digital x-rays including panoramic full mouth x-ray
- Intra and extra oral examination
- Taking photos of your teeth
- Oral cancer screening
- TMJ jaw check
- Skin check for signs of cancer or sun damage
- A thorough teeth cleaning
- Fluoride treatment
Insurance Information
Our practice works with all major insurers and claims are processed directly at your appointment. We do the rebates and you pay the gap.
