Dr Ellie Borgelt, BDS

Owner and Principal Dentist

Dr Ellie Borgelt earned her degree as a bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) in 2001, from one of the most prestigious universities in Venezuela. Shortly after, she moved to Australia and completed the rigorous examination process for overseas dentists by the Australian Dental Council. In 2004, she was granted her general dental registration to practice in Australia.
Dr Borgelt is a native speaker of both English and Spanish.

Throughout her career, Dr Borgelt has completed several continuous education programmes in all areas of dentistry, in particular cosmetic dentistry. This includes exclusive training by the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), and more recently, she has become an Invisalign provider.
Dr Borgelt worked for over a decade in some of Sydney’s eastern suburbs most renowned dental practices before creating The Dental Spa Bondi.

Dr Borgelt is a mother to 3 teens and as such, she understands the needs of all patients’ groups.

Complete Health Dentistry

Dr Borgelt is passionate about providing what she calls “complete health dentistry”, combining oral health with medical health and wellness, to ensure that her patient’s whole health is improved as much as possible through proactive dental care.

She aspires to provide a unique health offering where patients experience a relaxing environment while they receive best in class dental and facial advice and treatment. She enjoys working closely with her patients to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Outside of the Practice

Dr Borgelt lives in the Eastern suburbs with her husband and their 3 teens. In her downtime she enjoys keeping fit by training at the gym, flamenco dancing and walking her dog Oskar in the park.
